This is the independent WEB site for the Society Hill at Piscataway Condominium Association, located in Piscataway, NJ. This site is not sponsored, endorsed, or supported by the Association, the Board of Trutees, or the Managment Company. It is run by a member of the Board of Trustees.
Much of the content from the prior Association's WEB site has been moved here. However, since this site is not connected to the management systems, it no longer supports on-line service requests, reminders, on-line payments and account history, and owner/tenant/vehicle updating.
If you are looking for the Association's official new WEB site, they don't really have one - it's just a payment portal for the monthly fees.
2025 Election is WEDNESDAY NOV 5 by Kevin Wine, Nov 02, 2025, 11:24 PM, reply, branch, edit
The 2025 Election will finally be happening this Wednesday, November 5th, 7PM at the clubhouse and on Zoom. I assume the Zoom link will be the same as before:
https://us06web.zoom.us/j/86321313925?pwd=UTgKCDbc1fr8kb0lpIzucIUIoZ7MqC.1
Since this is the third attempt at holding the election, the quorum requirement has dropped to 33% of owners in good standing. As of the last attempt on October 21st, there were 60 delinquent units so the quorum at that time was 40% of 485 which was 194. We had 218 votes received, but there were 31 delinquent units that voted, so after subtracting them we only had 187 votes, which was short. Assuming there are still 60 delinquent units, the quorum requirement will be 33% of 485, which is 160, so we should be good.
You can still vote in person at the meeting, but I recently discovered that if you want to do this, make sure you are at the clubhouse BEFORE 7PM on Wednesday. 6:30PM would be safest. It sounds like they will close the in-person voting just prior to 7PM.
If you still have your paper ballot, the instructions are available on page 2 of this link (NOTE there are 2 PLACES WHERE YOU HAVE TO SIGN!!):

If you don't have your original ballot, you can complete the proxy form and name another owner as the proxy holder to vote on your behalf at the election on Tuesday. You can download a copy of the proxy form here:
https://www.savethehill.org/Election/Proxies/Proxy2025.pdf
And complete it following the instructions on page 2 here:
https://www.savethehill.org/Election/Samples/2025InstructionsBox2.pdf
This will give your proxy holder the right to vote for candidates of their choice at the annual meeting. In the example I show me as the proxy holder, but you can appoint any other owner in good standing who will be present in person at the election meeting. If you do put my name, I will obviously vote for JOHN FAKLA, ZAHID KHAN, and VINCENT MARCHITTO.
I have seen zero internal communication on the 2026 annual budget, although I know it is being discussed. Since they aren't sharing any budget proposals with the board as a whole, it is safe to assume the fees are not going down. I sense the reverse is true, and most likely another increase is in store for us if the current board remains in power after Wednesday. Unfortunately it is unrealistic to assume this board will self-regulate on the fees - that is left up to us, via the elections.
