RESOLUTION NO. 92-1
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of Society Hill at Piscataway Condominium Association Inc. are cognizant of the regulation of the State of New Jersey Department of Community Affairs prohibiting the use and/or storage of propane gas grills within a distance of 5 feet from any multi-family dwelling in the State of New Jersey; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors is aware that buildings located within the Society Hill Complex would be subject to this regulation; and
WHEREAS, the Board desires to conform its current regulations on gas grills to be consistent with the regulation of the Department of Community Affairs; and
WHEREAS, the Board is of the opinion that it is in the best interest of the Condominium Association,
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved as follows:
1. Society Hill at Piscataway Condominium Association Inc. regulations are hereby amended to prohibit the use and/or storage of any gas grills located within 5 feet of any dwelling located on the property known as Society Hill at Piscataway; and
2. In the event that Society Hill at Piscataway Condominium Association Inc. incurs any fines or penalties as a result of any homeowners lack of compliance with this regulation, then the offending homeowner shall be responsible for reimbursing the Association for any such expenses incurred. Each homeowner shall be directly responsible for any and all tenants located within his condominium unit, included but not limited to family members, friends, tenants, or other invited guests.
